Agadir – Taroudant – Marrakech Tour (2 days with night in Marrakech)

Day 1: Agadir – Taroudant – Marrakech

Departure from Agadir at 8:30 am heading towards the plain of Souss, the largest orange grove of the region; arrival in Taroudant often called ” little Marrakech ”; short visit of the Salam Palace (former palace of the Pasha), the medina, the souk, and the large square of Assarag; continue your way up the High Atlas Mountains where Berber villages start to appear at the foot of the mountains, oases of olive trees, stunning and spectacular landscapes. Arrive at the top of tizi-N-test at an altitude of 2100 m, a splendid panoramic view. Lunch in a pleasant location (optional) or simply have a mint tea break then continue towards the villages of Ijoukak, ouirgane and Asni arriving at and visiting the old mosque of Tinmel, a historical heritage built by Sultan Abdel Moumen after which to continue the trip to Marrakech, arriving at your lodging destination at the end of the day.

After a little moment rest in the hotel, a very pleasant outing is planned to admire the folk entertainment at the famous Jamaa el Fna Square, a highly recommended visit; dinner at your hotel or Riad.

Day 2: Marrakech – Agadir

After breakfast, visit the few historical monuments of Marrakech planned for the morning such as: the Bahia Palace, the Kotoubia mosque, the Saadian tombs, the Majorelle gardens and the souks. Lunch in a typical Moroccan restaurant with varied and tasty Moroccan menus followed by a guided tour of the big souk; the haven of admirers of handicrafts, end up the visit with free time at the amazing and world famous place of Jamaa el Fna; very busy at the end of the afternoon, a must see site. Meet around 6:00 pm to make the return trip to Agadir.
