The Camel trek is usually just prior to sunset, so that you may enjoy the sun setting over the landscape from the top of the Dunes.
Once we arrive at the Desert camp, we are greeted with a cup of delicious hot mint tea and we spend the evening under the stars, on the dunes and beside the warmth of the fireside built especially for you. We enjoy a locally cooked meal of Tagine and couscous (special diets are catered for), a drum party and story swapping. Those that wish to can sleep directly under the stars, but there are Bivouacs for everyone. Enjoy the stars in the desert because this is a rare opportunity to see them in this way as there are no artificial lights around, so you can fully appreciate the romanced and glory of the skies above.

Stop at the local market to select fresh ingredients for the Tagine which is going to be made locally at the Berber house above an open fire, and then we make 40min to get to the nearest place to park the car and walk for 10 min to reach an incredible oasis deep in the Atlas mountains called ‘Paradise’.
Getting time to get the morning refreshments with a tasty mint tea accompanied with fresh bread cooked in Berber wood fire oven called Tafernout , olives oil, Amlou Jam ( Almonds, Argane oil and honey), drop the ingredients for the lunch at the Berber house optional Berber Tagine cooking class and bread bake, otherwise we leave it, and they make it for us, while we go deeper on the valley. The Valley has freshwater waterfalls, palm trees and a perfect swimming spot. The people wet the rocks and used them as water slides; you would enjoy a swim and a sun bake…
After the swim we head back to a Berber house where we had dropped off the ingredients earlier. Whilst we were swimming the owner of the house had made us a Tagine (Lamb, Chicken or Vegetables tagine at your request) using our ingredients and some amazing spices.
